The family of Maxine Cantrell

One of Maxine's first memories was of her falling off the family pony (King) on her parent's farm in Iowa with her five brothers and sisters falling on top of her. When her mother asked if she was all right Maxine's response was "I think they knocked my brains out." The next special memory she remembers is when her and her mother came out from Iowa on the train bound for Wenatchee WA. This was the first time Maxine had taken a ride on a train.

When Maxine reached the 7th grade she was given the option to go to school at Holy Names Academy in Spokane WA. She attended school at Holy Names for one year a then returned to Wenatchee where she met Dale Kinder. Anna Maxine Cantrell and Arthur 'Dale' Kinder were married in Wenatchee, WA on June 20, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.The couple received a lovely write up in the local newspaper. After their wedding Maxine and Dale lived in Richland,WA.

Arthur 'Dale' Kinder and Anna Maxine Cantrell had the following child:

Maxine moved to Long Beach, CA after her divorce from Dale. While she was in Long Beach she met Jim Stevenson. Anna Maxine Kinder and Jim Stevenson were married in Las Vegas. NV on February 6, 1954. Jim was in the Navy at the time so a short time after they were married Jim was deployed and Maxine moved back to Newport, WA. After Jim's honorable discharge from the Navy they both moved back to Newport, WA. They later moved to Spokane, WA where they owned and operated the Atlantic Tavern and Jim also worked at Kaiser.

James Herman Stevenson and Anna Maxine Kinder had the following child:

Anna Maxine Stevenson and Jerry Snover were married on August 14 ,1971. Gerald died on October 13, 2003 at the age of 69

Gerald Walter "Jerry" Snover and Anna Maxine Stevenson had the following child:
